Our previous Happy Hour Hosts had to back out so we need another gracious Dublin AM member to step up. It's easy to host the Happy Hour: do a light cleaning of the living area in your home. Put out some glasses (plastic are fine). That's it! Our club provides the wine and members assigned to appetizers bring the food. Please reply if you can open your home for an hour.
If you haven't RSVP'd yet, nows the time to let us know you will be coming to this fun event.
Plan to shake off the winter blahs with a Dublin AM Progressive Dinner on Saturday, February 23rd. We're changing things up a bit this year. Rather than a pre-planned dinner we will ask you to bring a favorite dish. Here's how it will work:
- You will sign up to attend, same as always.
- We will meet at the Happy Hour Host Home for Happy Hour (wine provided by our club)
- Once the home assignments are made, you will be asked to bring an appetizer, side dish, salad, main dish or dessert.
- Difference is, you choose the recipe you wish to make (or purchase, for that matter!). Bring a family favorite, a dish that represents your heritage or just something you want to share.
- Bring the recipe, too – let's share some of our own fine dining!
- Cost is $7.50 per person...such a deal!
Four members are excited to host friends for dinner. Thanks to the Robenalts, Burnesses, Patels and Susies. We would like to have one more host home. Please contact Claudia Trusty or Peter Georgiton if you are able to host 6 - 8 for dinner at your home.
