Dublin AM Rotary Newsletter from Ingrid Fields -
February 2024

Ingrid's Corner:

Greetings, Dublin AM Rotarians

Joy can also be defined as Rotary happy

We have a speaker coming on Friday, February 23 that signs her emails “Rotary Happy”. I can’t wait for the club to meet Jenny Stotts and hear her speak at our meeting. Her infectious energy reflects all the same goodness I see in our club.

We will be sending out a Member Survey soon; we want to know what makes you happy in Rotary.

We have just completed the February board meeting, and with the last candidate in, we will be welcoming three new members this month! Each brings a set of talents that will add to the combined talent we enjoy. Welcome Ed, Sean and Greg!

We will be together soon on Safari Golf Course for the Polar Bear Golf Open!  I’m glad we are trying a later date: we will see how the weather cooperates but it is called the Polar Bear Golf outing  for a reason. Pete Cushnie, Sinan Yaykin and their great committee are working hard to ensure that this will again be an awesome event.

  • Shelves hold food at Dublin Food Pantry for some needy citizens.
  • Breweries quenching members at the recent Happy Hour at North High Brewing
  • Our Family Day at PINS is coming up
  • Next Service project is this Friday, February 16
  • More service events in the spring
  • Great speakers because we are interested, interesting and active members.
Keep it going, Happy Rotary Friends!

Yours in Rotary service,

Ingrid Fields

Meals on Wheels:
A knock at the door might not seem like a big deal to many of us. But, to a home-bound senior, it could signal the arrival of the only person they might see all day or all week long. It brings hope. It brings health. It brings the nutrition and care that will completely make their day. A knock from Meals on Wheels can even save lives.

We are asking for your help in delivering Meals on Wheels to seniors in the Dublin community. It only takes an hour once a week but it makes a huge difference to the senior that you are delivering much-needed food to.  Please click on the attached SignUp Genius link to see how you can help.  We need help for 12/27 and January.

Thank you!!
Jill Kranstuber and Cindy Groeniger
