Speaker Committee

The Speaker Committee led by Daniel Schwegman aims to deliver programs for our weekly Friday morning meetings that reflect Rotary’s core values while resonating with the interests and passions of our members. We continually seek speakers who can spark conversations and fuel action. Speakers range from local business and government leaders, experts in technology and environmental causes, and we even take the show on the road for some of our Friday meetings and visit local businesses and organizations that our club members are interested in visiting. The Speaker Committee welcomes and encourages suggestions from all club members to ensure engaging, inspiring and relevant topics and speakers. The Speaker Committee responsibilities include

• Coordinating dynamic speakers for weekly meetings
• Ensuring the programs are relevant and thought-provoking
• Collaborating with members to identify and invite speakers
• Striking a balance between local business insights, service-oriented programs and global awareness.
• Organizing our periodic “taking the show on the road” Friday meeting
