Today was the annual return of former Buckeye Football stars, Ryan Miller and Craig Krenzel. Ryan updated us on the great work that the 2nd & 7 foundation (www.secondandseven.com) continues to do to improve literacy skills for 2nd graders. Now in its 18th year, the foundation has expanded into 20 states and will deliver its 200,000th book this year!
Ryan and Craig provided their great insights into the 2017 OSU Buckeye Football team on this eve of the huge game with Penn State. Both of them expressed optimism that Ohio State has the talent on defense and office to compete with and win over a very skilled and #2 nationally ranked Penn State team. Stopping Penn State's Saquon Barley and limiting running plays by PSU QB Trace McSorley are the keys to OSU's defense. On offense, Craig referred to this Saturday as potentially J.T. Barrett's "Heisman Moment" if he plays with the same high efficiency that he has in the past several games. Miller and Krenzel believe that an Ohio State win on Saturday will lead to a Big Ten Championship Game appearance with the Wisconson Badgers, with the winner selected into the College Football Playoff.
