Ingrid Fields shared information about our May 29th fundraiser, the Dublin AM Memorial Tournament Pro-Am Event. If you have not registered for your two tickets, please do that today. If you have any problems with that, contact Claudia Trusty. We need volunteers to man the registration desk and drive the shuttle bus that day. Contact Ingrid for more information.
Sharon Kendall is again heading up our Group Study Exchange and is looking for home hosts for the team traveling to our area from Romania. They are all professional adults, and will be here August 24 - 28.

Dan returns as a speaker to Dublin AM to update our members about the Muirfield Memorial Golf Tournament.
Since 1976, the Memorial has been a community unifier in Dublin. It is an economic driver, bringing in about $38 million each year to our area and promotes Dublin and Central Ohio throughout the world. Media coverage reaches over 200 countries! The Memorial also is a philanthropic leader in our community, with over 100 charities benefiting through donations.
The Memorial is a mecca for PGA golfer, too. The prestige of playing on this Jack Nicklaus course is huge, and the purse isn't too bad either. In 1976, prizes ran $200,000. This year, golfers will enjoy at $9.3 million dollar purse!
The future of the tournament will be built on staying relevant to more than just audiences that enjoy watching golf. Events like the Pro-Am, with free admission for veterans, and the Dublin ForeFest event will keep people coming back for more fun, entertainment and, yes, even golf!
