Don't throw out those unused, broken or outdated electronics. Roberta Kayne is organizing a drive to collect items for T.O.U.C.H., a group that helps previously incarcerated people learn new job skills by repairing broken electronics. Roberta says "if it plugs in, bring it!" Collection day is being planned but will probably be in September.

Today's speakers are well-known to us all: Bonnie Coley-Malir, Dwight Seeley and Wolf Lant. Today they shared some of their experiences at the 108th Rotary International Convention in Atlanta. Over 33,000 attendees from 174 countries traveled to the convention to learn more about RI's efforts and plans for the 2017 - 218 Rotary year.

Bill Gates and John Cena shared how important it is to continue our efforts to eradicate polio – with only 6 new cases this year, we are so close. But the rest of the battle is expensive. Watch this video as they announce funds committed to this amazing effort.
 
Jack Nicklaus was there via video and shared his personal experience with polio. As a teen he was tested after showing symptoms of polio, and learned that he did not have polio but had been a carrier and his sister was diagnosed with polio. For Jack, it is personal, and you can see that in this video.
 
Dwight talked about the sense of community – that RI is bigger than any one club. Together we really are changing the world.
