Join us for an educational overview of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, a national nonprofit dedicated to finding permanent, loving families for children waiting in foster care. Founded by Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas, who was adopted himself, the Foundation’s mission is rooted in the belief that every child deserves a safe, stable, and permanent home.

Participants will learn about the Foundation’s signature program, Wendy’s Wonderful Kids, an evidence-based, child-focused adoption model proven to be significantly more effective at finding families for children who have waited the longest in foster care — including older youth, sibling groups, and children with special needs. The session will highlight how the program works and the lasting impact it has on children, families, and communities.
