It's time for the Winter Perfect Party! Please join your Dublin AM Rotarians and bring a guest for an evening of fun, food, drink and fellowship Saturay, February 22 starting at 6:30pm at the home of Susanna Huang. For those of you unfamiliar with the Perfect Party concept, Susanna Huang as the Perfect Host will graciously open up her home, so be the Perfect Guest and bring a drink to share (wine, beer, or a fancy drink of your choice) and either an appetizer or dessert. What better way to see the Dublin St. Patrick's Day Parade than as a volunteer Marshal! We need 25 volunteers to provide safety at the parade, by keeping spectators the proper distance from floats and bands, as they move along the parade route. All volunteers meet at Jason's Deli to receive their parade route assignments, along with coffee and pastries at 10:15 AM. We head out to the parade route around 11 AM, and marshal until the parade passes your assigned area (around 1 PM). Marshals get to wear a very cool flourescent vest which provides you with a sense of importance. Your role as a Marshal, is to keep kids and adults from running into or being run over by floats/bands/horses/etc. The weather forecast for March 15th is sunny and 70 degrees (maybe). |

What better way to pass early spring Sunday afternoon than with our club members and their families? Please join us for an event where kids, grandkids, neighbors and friends are welcome. When: Sunday, April 6th, 12PM-3PM Where: Pins Mechanical, Bridge Park What: We will have a reserved space and we will be ordering in pizzas and salads from Donatos. How Much: $10 per adult, $5 per child to be billed through the club. Drinks and Duckpin bowling are on your own tab. Please sign up for your Duckpin Lane in advance. LAST Call for volunteers. Sign-ups needed today!
The City has again secured a project for Dublin AM Rotary members and friends. We will meet at the Dublin Rec Center at 8:30AM, where we will check in and receive our Service Day t-shirt (while supplies last). Coffee, donuts and bottled water will be available there.
From there we will go to our project site: Ferris Wright Park & Earthworks: https://dublinohiousa.gov/ferris-wright-park/ The small frame house (the first one in Dublin), will need to be opened for the year, cleaned out and made ready for hundreds of visitors who attend open houses all summer and fall. This will include window washing, floor sweeping and mopping, cobweb dusting, and outside planting of small trees.
The City will provide equipment and cleaning supplies, as well as shovels and plant material. Bring your own work gloves.
Children from 14 to 18 will need a parental waiver; children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All volunteers must also sign a waivers will be emailed after all are registered. Registration ends Friday, April 25.
If you are interested in attending, The Chamber of Commerce will provide a light lunch at the Rec Center from 11:30AM to 1PM.

Please come out for some fellowship and happy hour cocktails at Getaway Brewing in Bridge Park. We have their Greenhouse room reserved for our members and guests. The management at Getaway wanted to support our club and waived the reservation fee as well as any minimum bar tab. So, let's have a great turnout and show our appreciation for their support! If you have not been to Getaway, they have a terrific selection of local beers and spirts. They do not serve food but do have a selection of light snacks available for purchase. You can bring food in if you wish. Or, just come for cocktails and then go to dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants. Hope to see you there!
