"Flying Horse Farms provides transformative experiences for children with serious illnesses," noted speaker Don Wiggins. "We're a provisional members of the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps, founded by actor and philanthropist Paul Newman in 1988. It costs the kids nothing to attend. Our 192 bunk beds keep young campers snug under the stars, and they enjoy camp activities during the day.  For many, it is the only time of the year they are really happy and pain-free. Our view is that when they are at Flying Horse, they are not sick. They are not patients. They are not different.  They're kids."
