The Chair of the Fundraising Committee of the Dublin AM Rotary club is Kent Underwood.

Fundraising activities support the programs and objectives of Dublin AM Rotary and Rotary International.  They are the lifeblood of the club and without them the club could not exist.  Fundraising activities provide multiple opportunities for Rotarians to strengthen the financial base of the club thus expanding the club's ability to serve the community, both locally and internationally.

Annual Dublin AM Rotary fundraising events:

  • Polar Bear Golf Open - this unique winter golf outing is a fun way to raise money for our club and enjoy fellowship with other club members and guests.  Funds raised help support important area projects that help children.  Grants from Dublin AM Rotary have supported Nationwide Children's Hospital, the Salvation Army, local schools and community literacy initiatives.

  • Blarney Bash - this is a new event for the club and resurrects a previous event that the City of Dublin held on St. Patrick's Day.  This event will be held each year on St. Patrick's Day weekend (on Saturday) and will commence immediately following the Dublin Parade.  The event will include live music, a D.J., some Irish dancing, food and beverage trucks and a lot of fun for all the participants.  We will need a lot of volunteers for this event as we expect 2000 - 3000 people to attend this year.  This event will help us raise funds for all the local and international charities that we support and we plan to have a featured charity that we partner with each year as well.  This year our focus is on raising awareness about the dangers of distracted driving and we'll partner with some local charities that support that cause.

  • Dublin Irish Festival - this event supports the largest Irish festival in the nation and is hosted in Dublin, Ohio.  Volunteering to serve during the festival directly supports the local community and provides fun fellowship opportunities as well as raising funds for the club.
